I agree with much of what you write though I do think the ecological harms are also current and should be listed. Our current global society’s willing blindness to what we are doing to other beings, ourselves and the planet is…problematic.
I agree with you. I originally fit that in to my brief example points but I think it’s a topic worthy of a full essay in and of itself. It’s qualitatively a different ball game.

I hear you on that this is worthy of additional essays but I also think it too often gets glossed over and/or ignored.
